“Beauty is in the details”

Beauty is in the details. Even with a marvelous design, true beauty cannot be achieved if the details are neglected. Refinement comes through many layers of beautiful details. Let’s explore the essence of Grand Seiko’s beauty.

Grand Seiko’s pride and joy, the Tentagraph mechanical chronograph movement, now powers a new model with a warm, copper-pink-colored dial. Its striking radial dial pattern is inspired by a bird’s-eye view of the ridges of Mt. Iwate, which can be seen from the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, the birthplace of Grand Seiko’s mechanical watches. The copper-pink hue exudes a dignified presence, as if bathed in morning sunlight. It conveys the message that even as time passes and things change, the spirit of craftsmanship continues to be passed down within the studio. This color also reflects the passion of the craftspeople. The indexes and push buttons are made of 18k pink gold, creating a soft yet striking contrast with the high-intensity titanium case. Even with its gentle hue, this watch exudes a strong, confident presence.
